Users describe the same unease in different words: everything sounds polished, immediate, and strangely interchangeable.

That feeling is a product signal. It means authenticity cues are being drowned out even before clear policy violations appear.

Our response has been to amplify human signals in ranking and moderation review, especially in early conversation stages where tone gets set.

We also reduced tolerance for high-volume low-variance posting patterns. Volume without variation is often where synthetic flooding begins.

The objective is not nostalgia for an older internet. It is restoring conditions where real voices can be heard as distinct people again.
